Funny thing happened ...
This past week end I was makerting my Notary services to Title/Escrow companies and signing services. As I read the different requirements, I became aware of why I wasn't hearing some of my old clients. They required membership in xyz and backgroung check and errow and omission insurance through that membership. I have not been a member of xyz in a number of years, but I started re-thinking xyz membership. Really No way for me. I am a member of Notary Rotary and ANN. But, low and behold I get a mailing about "renewal" of my membership, The 1st mailing I had from xyz in over 5 years. Could it be that some Title, Escrow company or signing service has passed my name along to xyz. Of course I will never again become a member of xyz.

same here with regard to membership. Funny thing though, I still get calls for work from them. I always ask the hiring party how they find me and it is a shock when they say XYZ

***What's ANN?***
She was the mother of the Virgin Mary, later sainted.
Also a college girlfriend, who would never have qualified for canonization, a matter for which I have long been most grateful.

Gads I've never belonged to ANN. What does it do for us? Is it like NNA? Zip!
