Got a document from a SS yesterday

It's 8 pages and tells me how I should be safeguarding their clients' info. Not sure if I should sign it.

I got a "Non-Disclosure Agreement" last week that

was a total PIA--25 places to insert my name, etc. I think we're going to see more of these going forward.

I got one from a TC once that said in addition to how I needed to protect client info they could come to my office unannounced any time to check out my computer and document security procedures and safeguards.

board who say they won't sign agreements and such. Shoot. I count one company I work with that hasn't required some form or another

I didn't sign it or send it back. Someone had referred me cos they were looking for NSAs in my area, so they just sent the signup pkg.

Frankly, I think this stuff is more to impress their cilents than anything. It would be impossible to enforce.
