HP LaserJet 4350DTN Workgroup Laser Printer?

Ok I went and ordered a refurbished HP LaserJet 4350DTN Workgroup Laser Printer so i can have a dual tray printer on recommendations from fellow members here. However it does not come with a toner. I see on ebay toners with and without a chip i suppose i need one with a chip? Is this correct. Also any tips cheapest place to by the toner carts i need........

Supermediastore.com
LDproducts.com

I am currently buying my HP toner carts from supermediastore - I had some issues with LD. They come with a chip. (I have an HP 2430tn.) The carts I've gotten from supermediastore have not been quite as clean printing as I like, but for the good price it is something I can live with. Google for coupon codes when ordering.

I just used my usual toner vendor

inkjetstore.com - and clicked on the model of my printer and they sent the right toner - had no idea about chip or no chip

I also see the toner relatively cheap on amazon; might also try quickshiptoner.com - their prices were reasonable for the drum for my Brother MFC.

Just some thoughts.

After problems with remanufactured toners from good companies, I now use Xerox toners from Supermediastore. More expensive, but much cheaper than HP, and I am confident that these will work.

Even the best internet companies selling remanufactured toners are dependent on what they get from China and probably buy from the cheapest suppliers to be competitive.

It is wise to have at least 1 extra on the shelf.

I use Monoprice.com, it will ask for printer and toners will pop up for selection ... never heard of chip.

I have been using this company for a long time and never had any problems. I always have an extra and normally order more than one to save on shipping.

All the best.

I have this very same printer. Also refurbished, which I bought at the beginning of last year.

I have been buying from Toner Pirates for eight years and have never had a problem.

The high yield toner for this printer runs at $48.

Or you can support Notary Rotary and order from the Resources tab above. The source is 4Inkjets/LD Products (same company). If I order in the morning, I get them the next day. Also, you can get any of the discounts they offer direct. I ordered about a week ago, got 10% off, plus free shipping. (It was last Monday and I didn't have time to shop around, so I just went for it.)

BTW, whether or not there is a "chip" (and there probably is for your printer) depends on what model you have. With HP printers, the chip comes with the toner cartridge. If you go with refurbished cartridges, I think the key is to make sure that you buy ones with a NEW chip. The real cheap cartridges don't, and that has a big impact on the stats you're able to pull up, as well as the quality of info (warning, etc.) you get regarding available toner.
