In black & white

Just got an email telling me to backdate docs. Then followed up with a phone call with the same request. Had to snap a picture with my iPhone.... WOW!!! Highlight of my drab day lol

What next?

So what do you do with this info next? I have had requests and of course say absolutely not, but then I haven't done anything. Where can this be reported to? The SOS?

Re: What next?

Last time I had that request (along with a threat not to pay me if I didn't do it), I called the enforcement agency for escrow companies in the state. Needless to say, they never used me again, but that doesn't bother me in the least.

Toni, I would like to know where you bought your E & O for a million and its cost. You can send a private message if you like. Thank you so much.

Unless it really happens so there's evidence I doubt anything would happen. You can go to the state department governing the title companies and report them using the email as evidence.
In my state unless there is hard evidence they won't do anything.
