Loan Modification question
What do other signing agents charge for a Loan Modification if all docs are already printed?

If it's the final mod signing - notarization fees
plus travel fee - usually only a few pages and 1 or 2 notarizations. At least the ones I've seen.

I am in Texas and I was wondering what other notaries charge for a loan modification?

Like Linda, I charge my travel fee, along with the notarization fee. Usually the clients have three copies, which is about 3 notarizations in each package.

Re: If it's the final mod signing - notarization fees
In the good ole days, I made $100 on mods, then $75, then $50, then they wanted to pay $45, I said, "hold the phone", that's it. No more...not worth it. No more mods for me.
The last one I did was for $50 for two drs. last year.
I had two grant deeds on Friday four signatures, five minutes $75...don't need the aggravation.

If H.O. has docs (no printing), and distance is within 5 miles, $50.00 minimum. I too have been offered 30-45 for mods, but not worth it. SS's keep pressing us to do everything for less...I may lose a few signings but will not haggle over such low fees offered. jer/oh

the SS's will be MORE than willing to give 50 and over.

Usually there is a 1-2 week window to get these signed. I fit them in when I'm going to be in the area for another signing. I charge $50 for these.
