MS Office 2013 - Have you tried it?
I just got my brand spanking new copy of MS Office 2013 Professional.
How is it working for you?

I was thinking of getting it this weekend at BestBuy with some rewards I have. What's your take? I have three laptops, one at my home office, one at my SB office and one which is mobile office, in my bat mobile.
I was thinking of starting out at home first, just in case their are glitches. Which there always are. The mobile unit in the car is a great backup in case something goes wrong up here. I'm not totally out of commission.

I have MS Office 2010. I've read professional reviews, and I didn't see any improvements that would make it worth the price for me. One interesting new feature is the ability to make limited edits to PDFs. It isn't a full-fledged PDF tool like Acrobat; it transforms the PDF to Word, lets you edit it, and transforms it back. I suspect there will be lots of files it won't work on, but I'm just guessing.

Just installed it last night. I think that it looks a lot
like 2010 except
--The big feature - it will be making a quicker connection to the SkyDrive feature (MS Cloud). In the past, OneNote synchronized seamlessly with SkyDrive in 2010 (great feature) but now all of the MS Office Suite tools will. I am already a Dropbox fan, it will be hard to change over.
--the PDF feature that VT mentioned. I think it WILL be good for some types of PDFs and in certain settings.
For the cloud phobic, I didn't say I was storing sensitive information in the cloud. I use Dropbox all the time for transferring documents that I need on the road.
For my purposes, the cloud is more secure and more likely to BE THERE when needed than all the little thumb drives that my cohorts are constantly misplacing and panicking over. At work, we are encouraged to use Dropbox with dual security. I don't know if that is possible with other cloud clients.
