Just called and offered $xx for "it's just a stand refi". Yeah, ok, my fee is $xxx. She says I'm sorry meet me in the middle $xx, I said I'm sorry my fee is $xxx. I'm sure someone will pick that one up.

Oh yeah, I've heard all those "phrases", once I do I know what's coming. So I politely give them my fee and they never call back so I know someone else took it. I just wish these other notaries would realize that they aren't making money by taking the low ball fees.
