National Loan Closings website

I can't seem to access their website today and I got voice mail when I called their number. Usually some answers, so anybody know anything about them today?

Well, I had a closing scheduled for them this afternoon, but can't get a hold of anybody about docs. The phone call went straight to voice mail without any indication of the company name or anything. Just repeated the phone number "leave a message" and then beep!

Curiosity got the best of me. So, I emailed them.

Andrew just called me in response to the email. He says they're having server issues and are down for the day. There was a lot of static during the phone call and told him so. He sighed and said "one more thing to add to the list ... phones are probably affected too."

He called me from 515-440-3050.

I was curious 'cause FASS was down yesterday (and according to their email response to my inquiry yesterday, "We suffered a power loss yesterday causing the system to go down. However, all systems are now back up fully functioning."

Coincidence? Wink

I wonder if their sites are both hosted by the same service.

Don't know about FASS, but National loan closings and Iowa Loan Closings are one and the same.
Slow payers, and always excuses. They pulled the "we need your W-9" on me 3 times.
That's when I fired them!

Re: Curiosity got the best of me. So, I emailed them.

This story gets better. I got a phone call today informing that the docs had been emailed to me - today for a closing that was scheduled for yesterday. I was doing a closing when the call came, so it went to voice mail. I get back to the office and downloaded the docs - the package was dated for yesterday. I emailed back asking about the dates. I get another call - new docs being sent. I ask if anyone had called borrower about this - no, you call. I did, and borrower informed me that another notary was there doing the signing. In the meantime I get another email with docs with correct date.
I ask for an explanation of why I wasn't contacted yesterday and why it was reassigned. Got no good answer. I spent over 15 years in IT and part of my job was disaster planning - what to do if something goes wrong - like the server going down. Apparently, they haven't done any disaster planning, or else, it wasn't done very well. "Our server was down" was their excuse.
