They did pay me and I apologize for bringing up the issue. I just can't understand why someone didn 't tell me that the check had been deposited instead of me having to ask about it for about the last 4 or 5 weeks. Oh well - I got paid and I have apologized for bringing up the non-payment issue.

NVS had always paid me like clockwork. In addition to my bookkeeping software, I use quicken for my bank account. I split the deposit transaction, breaking each check down by amount listing the check maker, the check number and my order number in the memo field. If I accidentally applied the check to the wrong customer in my bookkeeping, I can usually find it by running a deposit report in quicken and comparing it to a similar report in my bookkeeping
