In a personal not work-related matter, my husband and I purchased something that turned out to be bogus. I contacted the attorney general for the state it came from. I was very surprised to receive a letter saying we didn't qualify for help because we didn't live in that state. We lost several hundred dollars. Yes, we did research it in advance, but the sneaks got around that.
