Notary Course from Notary Rotary
Hello, I would like to know if anyone has taken the notary course from Notary Rotary for California and if so how does it compare to others out there? Thanks in advance for your input.

Took the 3-hr online course and it's comparable and
free to premier members. Can't beat that.

I have taken it too, for my last two commissions. It is great that you can work on it, as time allows, following your own pace. It is well put together. Would highly recommend it.

I'm looking for a NSA course for my daughter. Does the Not Rot give you a certificate of completion?
Thanks.

Yoli, Stephanie, and Goldgirl, thank to each of you for your feedback. I love that the class is free with premier membership!

It is not an NSA class, is it?
I thought it was a California notary course.

I've taken it for the last two commission renewals. It's great... and best of all, it's FREE (if you're a premier member). You get the cert of completion immediately.
Some people like classes but I preferred reading and studying on my own time. (Snuggled in my jammies with a glass of pinot).
I don't know how it compares to "others out there," but it was good enough, apparently, cos I passed the test.
That said, I took a class when I first started out ... back in the days when the SOS didn't require classes (all you had to do was pass the test to get a commission). I'm glad I took the class to get my feet wet, but I didn't feel I needed to go through all that again when renewing. Even though my newbie class was good, the teacher spent an inordinate amount of time trying to sell extra stuff, and from what I've heard, most of the education vendors, especially the NNA, do the same thing - try to get you to buy stuff you don't need. You can avoid all that with the NR online class.

I do not see a free NSA certified class under the "Education" tab above. Can you direct me to it?
Thanks.
