Notary Fees...
I've been reading the post in this forum specifically regarding the "low ballers" who are taking lower fees. Not wanting to be one of the guilty I want to ensure that I'm charging a fair amount that doesn't affect what others in the business are expecting to receive, (hold the standard). Right now I have a company asking if I'd do a HEC for $45, MOD Closing $40, 1st Refi $65. I'm interested in hearing what you guys stand firm for or what is the bottom line you won't go below for various types of signings.

You should charge an amount that works for YOU, all
circumstances considered. Competitors agreeing to a minimum price for services might be considered a violation of Federal and state antitrust laws. There is not , and should not be , any "standard"

Even though I'm a new signing agent, those fees are just too, too low. I mean you to have consider, toner, paper, electricity to run your printer, time & travel expenses. I have an refi to do for a title company tomorrow & i'm getting $115.

I don't start the truck for less than $100.... no matter what the signing is for.... and that is as low as I'll go on anything I'm willing to do. Less than that and it's not worth my time anyway.
