Not sure where they were out of...they called me yesterday, or the day before...it's all a blur...my week for deadbeats...while I was standing on my head signing purchases for $1 million mansions in Houston and Montecito, I get this call to visit a client to have them sign some papers and collect $xxxx to freeze credit card debt and arrange payment to all these creditors over time.
I had to get on my soap box, while sitting at Chase waiting for a client, I had the loan officer in stitches. What, you want to use my reputation, credibility, and good name to hoodwink these poor unsuspecting people, already in dire debt to take on more debt, you're going to encumber them for more $$$ which they will pay to you over the next 15 years, paying off their credit card debt, which they can do themselves, REALLY? They brand it STRUCTURED DEBT SETTLMENT. I call it FLEECING CONSUMERS.
Thanks, but no thanks. That's just not the kind of work I do, and shame on you for asking notaries who are background checked and must have impeccable moral compasses to become notaries to do your dirty work. What is this world coming to!!??!!
The Fleecing of America is getting worse and worse. There are more crooks on the outside than on the inside of our prisons, I'm pretty sure. And I think it is outrageous that then think they can ask notaries to aide and abet their causes.
Just my .02. Think I'll go pull some weeds for a bit. Nice and foggy out.
