Can you use an aka in the Calif. acknowledgement. i.e. John Jones aka John Allen Jones and Mary Jones proved to me, etc. etc. etc.??? I am think NO, as it is a title

That doesn't seem like a very good example. Normally Americans would presume that John Allen Jones is also known as John Jones. Do you know ANYONE who goes around correcting people when the don't say and/or write one's middle name?

If you actually meant a case where the names disagree, such as John Quincy Jones AKA John Allen Jones, are you thinking of a case where the signer has satisfactory ID in both names?

In this case, it doesn't matter...

In California, any kind of title, capacity, aka... whatever is a big NO-NO. We are only allowed to write the name of the person(s) appearing before us, that's it. Anything else of strictly forbidden.
