This is how 2009 started, when the norm was $125 and fees went down to 90-80 range. Going to hit a point even bottom feeders can't do the job. Just the cost of supplies and gas and waiting 30 days for payment will put them out of business.

If it ever got that bad I would walk away again.

I agree, I really don't know how any notary can work and actually expect to earn a profit working for such low fees let alone cover costs.

I received a call the other day for a signing. Was offered $40, I said no, gave my price and guess what........never heard back. So that means, someone took that job for $40. Really? I just don't see how it was worth the printing, time, gas money, fax backs, etc etc.
