Titlesource email

Does anyone still have the Titlesource email (cant remember if it was sent directly from TS or a SS) about not signing and stamping the NOTE.

Just got an email from an employee from TS requesting I send my stamp to them since I forgot to stamp the NOTE. But I dindt even sign it due to the N/A on the signature portion of the NOTE.

This email was sent earlier this year. Anyone still have it?

Someone please refresh my memory if I am wrong - the note is not notarized, the Deed or Trust or Grant deed is. Sounds like someone at the TS has incorrect information.

On the Titlesource NOTE in the State of VA have a section on the bottom that state certifying information on such and such date in such and such town. Notary signature blah blah. Its been discussed on this board before. So Im not concerned with whether or not its supposed to be notarize. What Im concerned with is the email which they sent out stating DO NOT NOTARIZE the Note. I need that email because someone at Titlesource wants me to send in an APA for this Note. Im refusing due to the email sent saying DO NOT NOTARIZE.

I need that email. Since I cant seem to find it in my email as I cant remember if it came directly from Titlesource or through an SS with the attached Titlesource request. I just know it was sent out earlier this year stating for notaries to not notarize it.

Toni....don't argue their interpretation of their rules

you'll only drive yourself nuts (despite the fact they they're clueless as to their own procedure)

Volley back with YOUR notary procedure - send them a reply stating that you cannot provide a loose APA all by itself - you will need the original note back and will need to revisit the signers and a new ack with current date will be provided - and of course, state your fee for this service.

Just a thought.

Re: Toni....don't argue their interpretation of their rules

It will have to be a trip back to the signers because I never initially notarized it so this would be a fresh new notarization. Definitely isnt going to be free since now they are requesting this to be notarized.

This may be a new person at Title Source who doesn't know the proper procedure. They should have attached a copy of the original signed document to the request for an APA, which I then complete specifically for that document (title of document, number of pages, date of documents, other signers, etc). (If you need a form, send me a PM and I'll forward the one I use.)

Toni, Can you elaborate on this: "N/A on the signature portion of the NOTE." Never seen this on the sig part of the Note.

I also use the ack Mary uses . . . I'm "glad" you forgot to notarize!! Smile Sorry for the trouble, though.

When you get the TS/SS email, can you please share here or on VNN?
