replacement jurats

Searched but could not find. If doing a signing and there is a jurat or affidavit that does not comply with state wording, can it be replaced with a compliant jurat or does the notary use a state compliant acknowledgement instead. One SS I was doing a signing for indicated that I should use an acknowledgement as the state compliant jurat would hold up funding. Never had a complaint before and wondered if there was a rule about this or if this was just company requirement.

Whoever you spoke with does not know the difference between an acknowledgment and a jurat. Let's hope she brings a different level of discernment in judging sh!t vs Shinola.

If the document carried a non-compliant jurat originally, it takes a compliant <jurat> if a change is required.

The SS is clueless!!!

A jurat that does not comply with state wording should be replaced with a compliant jurat.
