Basic vs. Premier Membership - Pros? Cons?

Just wondering if it's worth upgrading to a Premier Membership. Pros? Cons? Has anyone found that it helped their business? Any thoughts appreciated!

I just checked and there are 25 Premier members listed before you when I search "Find A Notary" Premier members are listed above Basic members, so it is beneficial to be a premier member.
You will also get discounts on notary supplies.
But check the link for further info:

I highly recommend it. This is one of the best sites

for notaries. Be sure to use your profile as a valuable advertising tool. When I was starting out I had a basic membership & didn't get any calls. When I invested in membership it started paying off almost immediately. I now purchase my E&O, BCG & supplies from here. The customer service is fantastic!
I hope you keep in mind that the industry is going through a downturn right now, but there's still plenty of business out there for those willing to go after it. ;-)

I once had the owner of a SS tell me he doesn't even bother with basic members. When I asked him why, he said if they're not willing to pay a very reasonable fee to advertise, they're most likely not a good notary!

James, when I had my signing service I always used Premier members, showed they were serious about their business. The only time I used a Basic member was when I recognized their name from the forum and their posts had always been professional.

I'm sure you did! I would be willing to bet that basic members get more calls from low-ballers then premium members. That in itself is worth paying for you membership.

I'm sure you're right about that, James. The lowballers

with look at the bottom of the list, not the top. I almost NEVER get a call for low fees.
