Dead here in SW Florida

Slowest week I have ever had. Been in the business since 2003.

Slow here to. Lots of. Low ball takers. Many folks vacation, back to school, and bankers on vacation.

No calls received in 24 hours. Not a good sign.

It's busy in Arkansas if you'll work for peanuts.

I like peanuts and so do elephants. But, I don't work for them. And, I'm not an elephant or a democrat. Former Pres. Carter (Democrat) was a peanut farmer. Some say the economic mess we were in during his presidency wasn't his fault. Maybe or maybe not. But, I do remember that gas prices rose as supplies were tightly regulated. And, gas prices are on the rise, again. That's why it's now more important than ever that insist on fair pay for our skills/expertise/experience/efforts/time.

If we allow TC's/SS's to cut our fees, that trend will NEVER reverse itself. More likely, it would worsen. On a separate note: has anybody else here wondered what effect our federal government's policy of allowing as many immigrants across our borders (as voters will tolerate) will have on our industry? Some say that some of those immigrants will apply for loans, which might mean more work for us. On the other hand, what happens if those immigrants obtain their notary commissions, then enter our already-over-saturated industry?
