Dear Title Company and Signing Service....

Why do think there you should not have to pay for faxbacks??? I have to drive back to my office, take the time to pull the required docs, fax, then drive back out to drop. Usually means an additional hour of my time, plus gas. It is an additional service that you are asking for. Do you call a plumber and tell him your sink is clogged and then when he arrives ask him to fix the toilet too????? For no additional money??? This is my BUSINESS!!!! I will be paid for services rendered.

Exactly! TC charges borrower for every little item.

Turn around is fair play and business is business.

and when it's an evening signing they could have the docs b4

the fax if I could drop them right away instead of taking the time to fax! Sometimes I will print the fax docs at fedex/ups, leave package and fax after dropping. Still more time and a couple bucks. Plus I'm a tree hugger so it hurts when I do that.

I to normally charge for fax backs. For late afternoon closings I tell them that docs will not go out same day due to their fax back request. I ask them, do you want the fax backs today or docs tomorrow. If they aren't concerned with getting docs back next day it's no big deal. I just drop the pkg the next day.
