Dub me The Change Agent!

This is going to be my new title, because change is what it's all about. Seems that the housing market is already tightening in certain cities, LA, San Jose, San Diego, even Portland, OR. It will be an interesting rest of the year. The article was in USAToday that I picked up yesterday.

While at Home Depot today purchasing up a new Fiskar lopper (the Corona lopper dropped dead yesterday after 8 years of loyal service) for sculpting oak tree limbs, a multi colored, striped cloth hammock beckoned to me. I've never owned one, and it was on sale for $18. In my colors, green, red and cream.

From this hammock, I'll be contemplating my next six figure income enterprise. Wish me luck! Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Cheryl,

The only 6 figure income oportunity availabe is panhandeling. Hang your hammock on a light pole at a busy intersection and make a sign out of cardboard. Very low start up costs.

It's not that easy, Buddy!

I would look too prosperous with this beautiful hammock, and I need a new wardrobe, I need to get into character, you know, look forlorn, desperate and hopeless/homeless, and that is no easy task, after years of working my fanny off. Takes time to develop this demeanor.

6 figures standing on the front lawn... giving you cash for your yard sale items?

Keep these ideas coming...we'll think of something

Someone already wrote the books "Everything you Ever Wanted to Know about XXX", "The Joy of XXX".

How about the "Joy of Panhandling?" It seems to be a growing occupation. I saw many people out yesterday with their custom cardboard signs. Everyone is blessing everyone for donations.

I took the day off yesterday, it was great! Had lunch at Appleby's (the portions are shrinking there), recorded my oath and bond with the county recorder's office, and puttered in the yard, trying out my new loppers. Doing nothing most of the day and relaxing afterwards is a pretty nice gig.

Maybe you can get a grant to research the affects of a

hammock on longevity! ;-) LOL
