Welcome to the Club

Check SC. Continuous 1 star ratings for last couple of months. I took my order based on the fact that they were title company and are responsible for paying bills. Big mistake. I have been waiting until March. I got a call from suppossed owner that she was concerned about negative articles on notary forums. I told her easy solution: pay my bill. Promised to pay, but no dice. She is either incompetent or dishonest. Net result: will not pay.

Unfortunately, you have to hound them for payment. I can't

believe they haven't paid you from last Feb. That's ridiculous. I've stopped taking any work from them. I don't have time for the "chase the payment" games these days.

Well sounds like a tax write off. Calling the borrower is not the right move, and I hope you do not do that. They paid their fee's and you contacting them sounds like double paying or crying the blues.

I was going to call the borrower to complain, so the borrower call the LO see if that can get her attention,

Don't call the borrower - they have already paid....on the HUD you can surely see that. Call TC listed on the HUD - find out if payment made, go from there.

Are they truly a Title Company?

Or do they just use "Title" in their name (Genuine Title)? If theyre truly a TC, why aren't you all reporting this 1 star deadbeat to their regulatory agency - the Department of Insurance (or Insurance Commissioner) in the state where they're located?

If she's in Maryland, I can serve the claim/summons for you.

I served another small claims lawsuit on Safir for someone else last year. He paid before the court date. They are local to me.
