Well you could always remind them- it's my paper, my ink, my gas and wear and tear, time there, time back, my time and skill during the signing that I willingly commit to....BUT there is a such a thing as a fair fee.....and yours is out of line. But thank you for considering me and have a lovely evening.

They probably felt overly-generous offering you $100.

Some SS tell me that $70 orders they've called me for is more than what they pay their other notaries. "Great! Then, call one of them b/c I cannot do any signing for less than $100, anymore."

Notary Assurance is a great company and would not want to burn that bridge! Been working for Notary Assurance for years and never had an issue getting paid, or meeting my fee. Some packages are larger than others but the volume and track record more than makes up for a larger package here and there.
