TCC Notary, Lake Forest, CA -- mixed reviews in SC

2013 alone shows them with a wide range. Many of the reviews are from CA, so thought I'd ask the forum.

Do they pay within 30 days? They've agreed to my $XXX fee and I'm dealing with Geoff Mauer. He caught me yesterday while I was on the road. This is for a signing next Wednesday in my same town. He was very nice on the phone except he failed to mention they need a bilingual notary.

Your comments are greatly appreciated! TIA.

Cameron Honig is awesome. We're friends as well as working buddies. Pays on time, always. Hard worker. New dad.

Geoff is Cameron's partner, both are great. Geoff gave me one yesterday for Tues. Yes, $XXX On or before 30 days. I have Cameron new baby's picture on my IPhone. Any body that will give you an assignment four days in advance is alright in my books. Been working for them about three years now!

I did a job for Cameron in March of 2012. Took almost 60 days to get paid after sending two email inquiries.

indaberry/LA ~

Were there any issues with the signing? Any errors or funding delays? Were you given an explanation for delay in payment?

TIA

Re: indaberry/LA ~

No errors. No issues. Only explanation was "sorry for the delay, I'm cutting checks this week".

Not an excuse, but, I wonder if that's when Cameron's baby was born and he was going through an adjustment period. A couple of others have mentioned his baby ....

The baby is about six weeks old..any

issue I have had with either one of those guys (print fees, travel fees, how long to wait for borrower, etc) was resolved to my satisfaction right away.

Cameron was always one of my favorite clients. Was working with him for over 5 years, however, here are my comments for two collection issues done in past year. On an April 2013 invoice, I noted on 6/3/13---- "77 days to get paid, and several phone calls. Blamed it on bookkeeper".

The first time I heard this excuse from him, was when I tried to collect on an October invoice on 12/2012:--- "Past due on invoice from October, Cameron is reachable, but check never comes as promised, blamed it on accounting dept"
Twice now, but I will not take anymore, this seems to be a pattern, that never was an issue in past years. What's that saying about twice burned? No more for me, thank you.

TCC Notary is one of my fav. companies. Docs on time, and pay within 30 days. Cameron is great, confirmation with docs attached. one email, and thats it!!! Never have to suffer reading 5 pages of notary instructions like some of those other SS.

$15 fee to apply to be included in their database

and they still can't pay notaries for 60 days?

No thanks.
