Thank you all for your posts and rants.
I think it is pretty amazing how the members in this industry generally help each other out. Sometimes, the feedbacks are immediate "shutdowns" while other feedbacks are informative and encouraging. Either way, my perspective is that most notaries public are simply trying to keep each other from making a mistake.
For newbies, keep an open mind. While there is a wealth of information here, many notaries public will not answer your test questions for you. Those notaries public, who may seem the harshest, are often the ones who want to ensure you know your material... to keep you out of trouble.
The economy is changing. The future seems uncertain. It is encouraging to have such helpful comrades. I wish everyone a busy future!
