Thank you all the schedulers for showing symphaty

My mom had a stroke last week and Yesterday was on her last hours. I email and called several of my already scheduled appts for Thursday and Friday and canceled them all. They were all very nice and understood my
situation.

My mother died Yesterday and now she is not more in pain. Rest in peace!

I am sorry if this is not the appropriate for this forum.

Sincerely:

Jose Gutierrez

May your mother rest in peace, and you and your family heal from the trauma you've had.

So sorry for your loss. I'm thinking you did the right thing being with your family. That's what matters and you won't regret not being there, had you taken your signings.

My dad died a year or so ago and my sister and I had a couple signings to attend to. He died about 1/2 hour after we returned to the nursing facility. Our entire family was present when he died. We think he waited until everyone was there, and could pass in peace knowing we were alright in letting him go.

Peace to you!

My condolences and heartfelt sympathies, for we all must deal with this sooner or later. Best wishes to you and your family in this very difficult time. Most people are really very understanding under these circumstances. It is after all, family and family comes first.

So sorry for your loss, Laurily.

Losing a parent is one of the most difficult events in life. My father passed in 2007. Still have my mother. It will be hard to let go.

I am so sorry Jose. But remember, you can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she lived.
The following helped me when I lost a loved one. It was in the Hospice booklet.

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.

Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone"

Gone where?

Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.

Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.
And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"

And that is dying...

Death comes in its own time, in its own way.
Death is as unique as the individual experiencing it.

Sylvia says it all. It is a very sad experience to have a parent pass away. My parents are "gone from my sight. That is all".

You will experience many feelings as the days and years pass. The holidays are hard for me to feel complete. It is getting better after 10 years.

Re: My condolences to you and your family during this troubling

Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. You absolutely did the right thing by cancelling your appts. I could not have done one assignment when I lost my dad. I was a wreck. I only cry on average once a week now and its been 18 long years.
