Deleting Files

At what point do you all delete emails regarding a signing that has already happened? Thank you.

Once I get paid, I archive the messages for about a month to make sure nothing comes up. Then I delete them.

Very similar as above. Once I'm paid, I archive the files, which are automatically purged after 60 days of being moved to the archive. Once or twice, I've had to go back in to an archive... one as late as 45 days after being paid.

I had considered going up to 90 days, but I'm not sure that's necessary.

I never delete confirmations, contracts, etc. The only thing that's deleted are the actual loan documents.... and they are kept on a secure drive (with both password and biometric access in a location other than my main computer.

Re: Marian! biometric--is your eyeball or finger at risk? cool!

Yup, biometric.... it's secured by a combination of one of my fingerprints with a fingerprint scanner as well as a password.

In the event I'm not available and somebody needs to get in there, there is a double password override.
