Power of attorney

I had a sign tonight and have some questions.
Fred Father is refinance his investment property, Fred the borrower has a similar names as son, Fredrick. Fredrick has been doing all the work for the refinance. Fredrick is the power of attorney for Fred. Property is in family trust. How does Fred sign the documents. Fredrick last name as POA Fred last name ?

Always check with hiring party in writing

Generally, this is how most of mine go.
Fred Father by Fredrick Son, His Attorney In Fact.

The reason I say to ask is because there are so many ways to do this. Dashes between Attorney In Fact, omit the word "His", etc.

Any POA has to be approved by the lender in advance. The

docs are usually drawn up with the name as they want it signed. The usually way to sign a POA is John Doe by Joe Doe, his attorney in fact. Initials are JD by JD, AIF. There may be more issues if it's in a Trust. I'd check with the hiring party to make sure it's done correctly.
