T Mobile has been great for me for last 15 years or so

never a problem with over-billing/double/triple-billing as AT&T did intermittently for years until I just cancelled the service with them.

The key is how is the coverage in your region as we sometimes travel in the 'boonies' it could be helpful to see the coverage map before you decide . . . Good luck with your decision.

FYI: I did sign up for the T-Mobile NotRot discount and it is approximately 10%.

I have been a T Mobile customer even before they were T Mobile. . . . for about 17 years . . . I think they used to be called Voice Stream. I love T Mobile. They have been very good to me over the years. Once they overcharged me for something and to make it up to me they added a free hot spot to my account. I can't say enough good things about them.....and then when Harry got us that Notary Rotary corporate discount......well that made it even better.

I'm with Verizon, but I heard the other day that TMobile

has the best price on an unlimited pkg. I don't know how service is in our area, and will need to check into that. My Verizon bill (with discounts) is still over $100/mo.

Been a 9 year T-Mobile customer, and I moved

to the $50.00/month pay as you go unlimited with them, and it is working nicely

I'm with Straight Talk -

My phone uses the Verizon towers -

Unlimited Talk, text and web for $45/month - no contract - it's one of the prepaid plans...and yes I have a smartphone.

I always have a signal - even when borrowers tell me there's no cell signals at their houses..

Same as Linda here. Metro's signal is weak in my area.

I tried them once and had to relinquish the phone and cancel the number, due to the weak signal in my particular area.
My sister has it in KC, and loves it. Great signal there.

Thanks. I'm going to look into that when my VZ contract

expires. You had to pay for your phone though, right?

Re: Thanks. I

Yes - you buy the phone...you can buy a refurb or you can buy new

They have Samsung S3s and S4s now, also have iPhones with various levels of memory - then they have your generic flip phones too.

No contract - just pay every month and your service is refilled - miss a month and you COULD lose your number.

You can also port your old number over to them.

We also went through them for our landline phone - $15/month after buying the receiver for $100.00. My old AT&T bill was $65/month..

And speaking of paying every month with ST

You can buy a prepay card up to a year in advance, at Walmart.
They offer another discount to pay 3, 6 or 12 months in advance.
3 mos. $126
6 mos. $250
1 yr. $495

Makes it $41-42 monthly.
Just sayin', even less is even better.

Yes, I had to pay for my phone

But at $45/mo unlimited vs the $170/mo for not unltd with VZ, it has not only paid for itself, but has saved me a lot of money.

You'll have to do some research when you are ready to switch to ST, for specific phones that utilize VZ's towers. (ST phones use all the major carriers towers...and are decided by which phone you choose. It's just a little bit of googling work).

I got the Galaxy Showcase and couldn't be more satisfied.

Just came from an appt. where BO is considering move from ATT to Verizon. When I'm in the woods camping, etc., Verizon people get service, no matter where we are. Most with ATT get service most of the time, but not all the time.

I have Metro PCS, another prepaid plan for $45 a month with everything unlimited, and use Verizon towers when roaming. But, most times I don't care if I'm in touch when I'm on my mini-vacations except when I am actually in the car driving alone.
