Information generated as a result of identity theft, including evidence of criminal activity, may be inaccurately associated the the consumer who is the subject of the report" Hmmm, this thing could swing in either direction, and makes me wonder about the veracity of it all to begin with. Amazing. What would be the point of a BGC if the people performing it can't even say that it is accurate?
Basically what they're saying is "As far as we know, this person appears to be a law-abiding citizen but may actually be an embezzler, a child molester, a serial killer, or has a documented history of running red lights; we really can't be sure, because maybe the public sources we've checked are wrong. All we know for sure is that the subject is not currently in prison. We are not responsible for any decision you make using the information we have provided, but based on these inaccurate sources, we think he/she is qualified to handle financial transactions".
