ĄThe Certified Signing Professional
From the SPW Intellectual Property Rights Policy page
ĄThe Certified Signing Professional designation is the sole and exclusive property of the SPW.
Looks like Certified Signing Specialist is now CSP. I had advised them that I have used the term Certified Signing Agent on my web site since at least since 2007. It is not TMd but constitutes prior usage, which could prevent the TMing of the term.

OMG! They create a title & then "own" it. This is all so
ridiculous!

Re: The time will come when if you
don't have this designation there must be something shady, like a real estate broker who is not a Realtor.

Re: The time will come when if you
I don't believe that at all.
Nope - not all all.

I don't buy this either because, at the end of the day,
no matter what SPW or any other self-appointed authoritative "organization" says - I'm still a notary public for the State of Florida with over 30 years real estate closing experience - fully qualified to handle loan docs and get the signed correctly, notarized and returned.
And, if this DID come to pass that this designation was a must or you're shady, then I do call "BS" and "tortious interference" not to mention calling me shady cuz I didn't subscribe to the cattle call.
