quiet time
Is everyone quiet. Seems like all is quiet and signing companies trying to cut pay for closings.

The day/month is young. Put on your negotiating hat! Work for STELLAR companies only.
Make sure you do your homework on companies not listed in SC or may only be in business temporarily for the big ea$y money this month!
Cuz things are about to change around here for good.

Could hear a "pin drop." As stated below, Nov was VERY quiet/slow - the worst, followed by Feb/Mar. After reviewing year's activity, my best months:
April May June
I'm launching a mini-mag (hope my writing gets me a little further this month); maybe a little Signing Separation Anxiety isn't a bad thing!

Innovation is Key to Survival!
There is no time like the present to draw on other skill sets now. We all need to polish and fine tune other modes of revenue generating. Get ready, as all the signs are here that 2014 will not be any busier than this last couple of months. Interest rates popped up a bit, but they are still slow. Lots of conditions contribute to the slow down in mortgage apps and housing sales across the US. Since many title and escrow companies and lenders are cinching their belts, we need to recognize the flow of work has diminished, and a lot of escrow officers are signing their own clients because they have the time to do so.
Me? I'm doing more live scan fingerprinting. I'm wondering how I change the tides to require ALL tax preparation professionals to be live scanned. Tis the season! Right now, only CPA candidates are required to be live scanned, as they are licensed by the State of California.

November started like gang busters but ended softly
Most part because of me, thought I would have a killer month until EOM and dead, I took off the Wednesday before Turkey day and back today. The time off hurt as I had to turn down work and locals got it. All in all November finished as a standard month.
Don't forget it was the Jewish holiday and Thanksgiving at the same time, I figure two more weeks and everything comes to a stand still till Jan 10th or so.
