Adobe 11 not responding. Could not open a set of docs and
had to cancel. Keep getting the message "adobe not responding."

Call title. Maybe you can open the docs in their system.

Can you uninstall and then reinstall an earlier version - say, 9 or 10.

OMG! That happened to me and I went into a frenzy. I just restarted my laptop (after my intial spaz attack), and all went well.

I quit using Adobe a couple of years ago because of all the problems.
I now use FoxIt reader. You can download the free reader @: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/
Foxit is my default reader to open all pdf files.
