BO won't confirm appt, SS says go to appt anyway

Based on the SS's instructions I've printed the docs and will go but if I get a conflicting appt then what? What would you do?

If you have an appointment, and you're told to go

why would you have a conflicting appointment? Am I missing something here?

AGree - make sure they'll pay full fee if the BO is a no-show.

Re: If you have an appointment, and you're told to go

I always confirm the confirmation via email from the hiring party with MY contract requirements. Among those are that regardless of what happens with the loan, if I do my part correctly, I receive full payment as per the contract they have made with me.

Re: If you have an appointment, and you're told to go

If you accept a signing and the SS or TC tells you to show up and you will be paid for your assignment no matter what, you should go. There should be no confliciting appts.

Re: It all worked out. BO had not called me back

to confirm the apt because he had already confirmed with another notary who couldn't make it so it was assigned to me.
