FYI

I had a borrower try to wire his amount due today and was told his bank had a $35.00 charge for that

Not surprised. He should be aware of what fees his

bank charges. This is no surprise, at least not to me.

Would it be wrong 0f me to ask, what concern of yours is this information.
Come on, you a you are a Notary Signing Agent. Your job is to I D the borrower before you, to present the documents with a brief factual explamation of what they are, watch the borrower sign them and Notarize them.
You are NOT in the position to give and more information. In this case how do you know what the fee is with that bank. Different bank may charge different fees for the sme service or the same service handled differently. How is the payment of these fees handled? Why do you want the problems associated with an answer of questions like this?
Not meaning to be rude, BUT I do get tired of us going beyond the score of of position.

You asked a question, got a perfectly reasonable

answer, and then fire back with this nasty bit.

Very bad form.

I didn't ask a question.
I thought the response was totally uncalled for and nasty

I'm on your side Pat. That response made no sense to me...

so maybe you live on a small island like I do and you ran into your neighbor who just mentioned it to you or whatever. looks like poster assumed a lot. anyway you were just passing on information as I saw it. wow, people get touchy on here.

I have seen verbiage on wire docs that indicate there may be a bank fee - granted, it is in smaller print than the rest of the wording!!!

Re: FYI fee charged

Thanks for the information Pat. I had no idea wiring fees could be that much.
