what is even funnier
is what is on the notary tab page:
7 Day Notary Payment Policy
We pay notary agents their approved rate soon after we receive payment from the lender or title company. In the industry, it usually takes 65 days for a notary to receive payment on signings for large lenders and approximately 14 days for title companies. The Signing Stream payment policy for notary agents is ahead of the industry, and it’s one more way we show our appreciation to our notary agents.
lmao 7 days AFTER they receive payment...well if large lenders are paying "65" days then add 7 days onto that....

Laughing..... I received an email from this company yesterday, specifically from Kay. They were requesting service for the area I serve, the email asked me to only respond if available with with my fee..... Now, if I were to have an opinion on this company and their business practices and rate them, with no first hand experience with them, it would need to be a 2 at best. If one can read a tone of attitiude in an email.....it would be negative. They answered none of my questions, such as "are docs ready" huge question when setting the time. They sent an additional email asking for-I assume the same signing for tomorrow....again always avoiding my questions. I provide service to a difficult to cover area and more so in the winter, I provide that service at a more then fair price. Notaries wake up, work in a cost effective manner, if your profit margin is below what the ss is offering you, you aren't making any money. Say they are paid 200, they offer you OMG 75....please be smart do not accept this, you are a fool. Gas, paper, ink, drive time, wear and tear on your vehicle.....Please work smart. And above all be aware of companies like this, I see on their website copyright is 2013 and thank heavens for other notaries that took the time to post here, they are previously Home Signings......obviously they needed to change their name due to porr reputation......After 13 years in this business you learn all the tricks of the trade. If a business changes it's name....it's probably due to issues of concern, concern that you as a business person should be aware of. I recently issues with Home Signings.....if I'm not mistaken.....same company, same game.....no thanks. i don't have time to waste on companies that aren't doing business fairly. Notaries also keep in mind many times escrow and or title have no idea how the ss operates, the ss often gets their foot in the door by who they know....WATCHOUT Many notaries are green in the business and afraid to alert escrow, fear nothing, ss like this need to be reported to escrow and title.
