Guess you can call Title Source now Out Source

Made a few phone calls this week and I guess someone followed up. I get a call today from a company I have not worked for in many years and wanted my info updated. It is one of the companies handling Title Source scheduling now.

Will see what happens next. When you do 20-30 signings a month for a company and 0 in last 30 days and still have a gold rating and no dings one would hope I would still get work.

Yep..they outsource to a LOT of companies...most

lowballers and/or slow/no payers

Wish they'd vet their companies a little more

Quicken is extremely concerned about their quality reviews from their borrowers. I wonder if they will get complaints about the closing appointments as a result of all the outsourcing.

This is exactly why the term "don't put all your eggs in one

basket" is important to this business. I would be very nervous to have that much of my business each month come from one place. I have that right now direct with two local title companies and it makes me a little nervous. That's almost half of my monthly volume. If something goes wrong it is a lot to have to replace.
