Hope they get it signed!
Just thought I'd share this one, as i'm still in disbelief.
I got a call for a last minute Provident funded refi this week from a Signing Service that I had not heard from in a while. After I got off the phone, in the time it took to walk upstairs to the office to check the email confirmation and get borrowers info/docs etc, I logged on to find that another email came after the confirmation cancelling the appointment stating "nevermind, the borrowers are going to go to the UPS store..." for a Provident loan no less!
I hope the rate lock is long enough to get it resigned!

You can just about count on a re-sign of this one as picky as Provident is with their docs.

Pretty funny. ;-) I'm aware that this happen more
frequently than we know. That way, they pay $5/notarization here, and there's usually 8-9 notarizations in a Provident pkg. Yes, it will be interesting to know how it works out, since Provident is so picky.

Didn't realize UPS NP's had $1,000,000 E&O that Provident requires!

And I didn't realize Provident sent docs to borrowers
When we took our Provident loan they wouldn't send docs to me (I worked at the attorney's office where it was going to close) - in fact, they wouldn't even speak to me on the phone about the docs or the closing - all calls had to go through my boss.
Yeah...I'm thinking it's more like you got shopped.
