Merger with Office Max and Staples has been going on since late 90's. I work for OD for 12 years and seems every other year it was on and off. One year OD was real close to merging with Staples, but gov. would not allow it, said to much monopoly. Maybe they can now with Office Max, they are shrinking here in Fort Worth.

Seems likely since Staples and Quill are teamed. Quill has great online presence and prices.

Costco locally is competitive too.
