I didn't. I did, however, take their "certification test". Got a certificate but have never received a call from them.

I refused to give them my car insurance. They said they needed it because they had a notary tear up somebody's yard with their car once. I said if I ever did that, the borrower can deal directly with me and my insurance company. I'm pretty sure they don't ask for FedEx's insurance.

Despite numerous issues I had with their signup package, I still get a follow up note nearly every day begging me to watch their training video so they can get me into their system.

Did a closing for them 1/26. Was treated with such disrespect, was told docs would be in 2 hours before the allotted time. Called Document Manager more than several times, no answer. Finished closing, had 4 others that day. All were late due to this company. still no pay........really disappointed, but should have read here first, or maintained to my original NO, when they wanted copy of insurance card. But, got sweet talked. NO more From now own, if ANY company wants my signature or stamp IT WILL BE 150.00 OUT THE DOOR. AND if less than 4 star on here. pay me to go
NOW! I am sure that the 225.00 closing fee on the docs isn't a number pulled out of their machines........... JULY IS BAN TOGETHER MONTH FOR LOW BALLERS BUT MY JULY STARTS NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I signed up for Mortgage Connect LP a while back and got an email from them recently asking me to take their new online test. Never have done an assignment for them and after reading the board, glad I didn't Like many of you I am sick of this. I have an NNA certification and background check and have been closing loans longer than this company has been in business. So the third request from them and my reply is below. I am sick of being treated like a 2nd rate temp employee by these firms when they should realize that they are lucky to have professionals like us out there to help THEM earn money. They seem like another one that would have to be chased to get paid and what they offer apparently is too low anyway.

Thank you for your interest, but I have a new screening process for the companies I provide Independent Contractor services to. At this point I am not sure that Mortgage Connect LP meets my minimum criteria. Before providing anymore information to your firm I will need to see fewer low ratings and complaints on the Notary message boards.
