N3 Notary??
Has anyone worked with these guys? They called me to serve a subpoena on Monday and wanted to know if I could do it then they wanted to get my background screen that I'm supposed to pay for! Then they mentioned that I would need to pay the person I'm delivering the subpoena to and they would reimburse me! Any input? Sounds like a risky waste of time!

They have called me several times. Wanted me to travel 10 to 15 miles for a I-9 certification with the pay of $30.00. Finally told them to take me off their list. They are a waste of time.

Texas Notaries, Yoy need to check the FAQs on the SOS Notary site. Answer to question about I-9 Forns says you are not allowed to it.

Is this the company in OR? If so, 1.5 stars in SC..
And yes, witnesses who are subpoenaed are entitled to a fee which is paid when they're served - you can google "CA subpoena fees" and there are several links (none of which work for me but that, I believe, is a problem on my end - my puter doesn't like CA for some reason lately).
Fee used to be a couple dollars in CT - not sure what they are in your area. They're set by statute. But whether or not you work for a 1.5 star company is entirely your call.

Subpoena service is $85 is the Texas state rate. Witness are paid by the Attorney who subpoenas them.

It is illegal in the state of IL to serve subpoena's without
a license. Our county coroner was fined $10,000 for doing just that. I don't believe for a moment that he didn't know this. He was also using a county vehicle. He's a crooked Democrat, just like the rest of this county and the entire sad sorry state of IL. And hold the crap about being a political post.

I would never front money for any company, especially
one that just called me and has no prior relationship established with me. Red flag!
This company has so many one star comments you know you will never see your payment, let alone any reimbursement!

Sent them PAW's collection letter & they told me they were 'black-listing' me after chasing a bill from them for 6 months. They did finally pay, last time I ever fell for it's a small package (they never are) to knock my fee down.

That's pretty funny. Blacklisted by the worst! Way to go! I'll remember them easier now for your experience posted here.
