National Vendor Solutions
I did a job for this company on 12/19 and have not been able to collect my fee from them. I took the job because I had done several signings for them in the past and have always been paid promptly and my fee has always been met. I looked at SC recently and noticed that the comments had gone from good to one star.... Has anyone heard anything about them? Is there a way to get their attention?

Did one for them two weeks ago and was paid within 10 days.
Did you follow their protocols to the letter? One of their demands, which I thought was over the top, was to call them when the signing was completed and BEFORE I left the signing table. Never had such a demand before, but I complied.

I do a few each month for them and have never had a problem recieving payment within 2 to 4 wks. Calling them before leaving the table is for the newbies or if you are having issues. Thou I do call on my way home to just let them know that all went well. Reguarding your payment, call them and have them track it. They will let you know if its been cashed and where. I believe them to be a great company to work with.

Eileen, They tend to do this once they've drop you for a cheaper notary. They'll use you hot and heavy for a while. Then they'll start trying to cheap down your fee. If you won't go along with it they'll stop calling and won't pay the last invoices.
Start collection procedures on them. Never let an invoice go to 60 days.

I got called yesterday for a refi signing with National Vendor. It was supposed to be for today at 11:00 a.m. After numerous calls to see where the docs were, I realized the 11 a.m. signing wasn't going to happen. At 3 p.m., still no docs. I called the borrower and told him that I had not received the docs, and that National Vendor would have another notary get in contact with him. I then called National Vendor that I couldn't wait any longer as I had other scheduled commitments.
I thought I would give this company a try. Live and learn.
