Negeotiating additional fees- what would you charge?
A signing that was suppose to take 5-10 minutes took 2 hrs. They agreed to pay me more. I am thinking about $50.00 per hour plus parking. What do you guys think? Have you been in the same situation before?

What do I think?
I think I would have left after 15-20 min and told them to call me after they got all their issues worked out. But that's just me.
It's hard to know what I would have charged without knowing all the facts and what caused the delay.

Were you in contact with the company that gave you the assignment during this freak show? I would have left too.

What were the documents that needed to be signed? Was it a full refi package or was it a RESPA application signing, or a Reverse Mortgage application? Who told you it should only take 10-15 minutes.
