oops, sorry

That was for a job on 1/11 and we did not discuss a price. I thought they knew my regular price. The one I mentioned in the above post has not been paid yet.

Would definitely have talked with Tony before posting this in a public forum. He is always available to handle any "perceived problems"............I've never called or emailed him when he was not available and he has always responding quickly.

Re: Negrete's Did you call them before taking this to public

That fee is for overnighted docs to the borrower, making it reasonable, no printing, just call borrower and make sure the docs arrived. The $85.00 fee is for printing one set of docs (75-80 pgs), and borrowers are so well informed they just sign and your out the door in 20-30 minutes max. Actually it's more profitable and beats sitting in a closing for 2 hours with borrower b*tching about all the crap they went through with lender for 4 months to get approved, then complaining about the # of docs they are having to sign, printing out two sets of docs (186 pgs ea) for $125 (had 2 of these today).

I completely agree. And that would apply to any other company, as well. I feel it's only fair to give them ample chance to correct an error, unless it's a chronic problem, and if that doesn't work, by all means go public. But anyone can make a mistake and why risk potentially hurting someone for an accident? (Especially an otherwise good company.) I'm sure it's not how we would want to be treated...

Quicken or not, right next door or not, I'm disappointed that Tony is paying $85 for ANY closing.

Shame on you Buddy!! Tony and all the people at Negretes are awesome..If this had been a real issue Tony would have taken care of it!!

You should have called him first before posting this here..Your words can hurt great companies like Negretes..Fees are what the NSA accepts! Everyone has their own opinions and choices to make!
