Prep loan docs to mail
How do you bundle your docs to mail in the envelope. ie binder clip, rubber bands. Have a $$$ EOM. Thank you, Kathy

I always use binder clips for both TC and borrower. I personally feel it is more professional. I also place the documents in a 9 1/2" by 15" envelope for the borrower.

I use binder clips and/or manila envelopes for the borrower. Nada for returning docs.... maybe an occasional rubber band.

Everybody gets a rubber band while I'm in the car - the last thing I want is docs scattered if something goes wrong whether fast stop or accident, etc. BO gets a file folder if we are at their home; manila or FedEx folder if they are at a hotel, travelling, etc. Docs placed into overnight wrappers get a rubber band - hopefully to guard against something sticking inside the packaging and then me having to go back out for their oversight.

I use binder clips for loan docs being mailed back and binder clips for borrowers copies. I find they hold everything in place and they give a professional look as well.

With all costs rising and fees going down rubber ands are
now the standard unless they are paying me well.
