Surge Protection

Has any one noticed the surge of business in January? I got a lot of files that have been in the works for 4 months, couldn't close last month for yearend because the appraisals were backed up and couldn't be reviewed in a timely fashion.

So, yesterday especially, my phone rang off the hook. I had three calls for one signing from low ball SSs trying to fill this one order....desperate but not interested in paying much.

I had to protect myself by saying no at least 8 times yesterday. Today is much quieter, after all, it is February 1...what happened to January...huge month for me.

Yes January was a big month for me too. Only October last year was bigger. I even turned down a few and had some cancellations which would have made January even better. There were a lot of Saturday signings too which is usually only once or twice a month. Must have been the backlog like you said.

But I have two today (so far) and one tomorrow so this month is starting out good too!

I'm getting a really high volume right now

A couple signers have mentioned that the bank was holding up waiting on their W2. When the W2 came, then they were ready to finalize and sign. Hold on to your hats! It may be a busy few weeks.
