Wireless Printing

I am thinking of doing away with my desktop and work strictly with my mac laptop. My mac laptop prints wirelessly to my current printer. I have not received my official commission yet so I have not purchased my laser printer yet. Does anyone else print using a wireless printer? Or do you recommend printing from a desktop only?
Thanks

I have 2 computers, including my desktop, my iphone and 3 printers that all print wireless. There's a little delay in connection pickup, but nothing significant. I would make sure you get a dual tray printer and wireless and Air Print compatibility. Air Print lets you print from your android or iphone if you choose to. Also be certain the printer is compatible to whatever operating system you are running and your specific smart phone.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I am trying to minimize my "toys" along with expenses. I want to get a portable copier so trying to put my money in the best most functional products.

Before you go further, there has been discussion here about Macs and printers, and how the twain shall never meet with loan docs. Since it is not my equipment issue, I will leave it to you to search using the Orange search button to see what the issues may be and also to see if I am wrong, which I certainly have been from time to time.

I don't mean to be a wet blanket, but forewarned is forearmed (and informed).

Agree, Jules.

Mac users should have a tacky "mullet" set up. Business up front, party in the back.

Keep an inexpensive $300-$400 laptop with Windows in front and use it for your business. Party in the back with your Mac.

Be careful in that there is an incompatibility issue on Macs with many of the programs and applications we use.

Many business applications (esigns) require PC platform. Mac does not support mixed original printing from dual tray printers.
