dual tray laser printer

Can someone recommend a Dual Tray Laser Printer that automatically pulls the legal/letter size paper from the trays. I have to manually choose from the document page to print now.

If you use the orange search button, there is tons of information.

Thank you, I am going to go with Tim's recommendation. I have had a Brother HL 5170 for 10 years and it's still going strong, so I am going to stick with the Brother product. I appreciate your input!

Others love the Brother 6180. So much info here on printers - two camps: Brothers and HP. I'm in the first, tho have never owned an HP.

Re: CalGal

You can add a LT-5300 (2nd tray) to your 5170, unless you're looking for a new machine. I'd also look around the web for the newer 6180DWT as a refurb ( probably listed as EHL6180DWT, E designates refurb.) if I was going to spend $300+ Brother factory refurbs come with the SAME 1 year manufacturers warranty, and may only be production line check machines, at significant $ savings.

This question has been asked and answered a billion times over, so an orange button search will turn up anything you'd ever want to know. However, are you also saying you have a dual tray now? If so, maybe you just need some tech support on how to set up your printer. See message #453884 earlier today on that very subject. Might help you get started!

I just bought a Brother HL5470dwt dual tray printer and it will select the paper to print if you click the pdf format box when in the print window.

This is fast about 40ppm I paid $343 on amazon. works great.

You may keep an eye out on your local swap and shop pages on facebook. In my area I found an office equipment liqudator who sold me a Konica Minolta Bizhub 181 for 75 bucks out the door. It is a little bulky but fast and great quailty, and toner does not cost an arm and a leg.
