Anyone have any experience doing signings on crutches?

Just sit down in a chair!

If you can't do that then don't work till you are healed. I once did signings with a cane when I had my knees replaced. No big deal.

Re: What happened to you Pat?

Is there anyone who could drive you & carry your bag to borrowers' door? In 2010 when I fractured my kneecap & was on crutches for weeks & could not drive, my husband drove me and carried my notary bag to the door. Borrowers were understanding & carried the bag to & from the signing table.

Re: What happened to you Pat?

I needed a hip replacement for years but could not afford to have it done. I used a cane and had no problem handling signings. I just recently was able to have my hip replaced. I used a walker for 2 weeks then was back to using a cane for about a month. I do not recommend going back to handling signings for a least 4 weeks after surgery.
