Seriously? Consider it a lesson learned. Never work for them. They kind of have one one the WORST reputations in the business and are well known for stiffing notaries.
Ignore all the luaghter and snickering you're about experience...but hey.... you were warned....
Next time, check out a company in Signing Central or search for them here. If you had, you'd have known that SOX is pretty much at the top of the "*%$& NO!" lists of every notary here.

James, it's a sad sad fact that they are still in business by preying on notaries that don't know any better. Consider this a write off. I doubt that you will be paid. You came to the right place though and promise yourself you will never, ever take another signing without checking them out first on here. Use the orange search button and search and read and also use Signing Central to look them up. Start your list right now. Put SOX at the top.

Sorry to hear that, James. You got stung by one of the
worst in this biz. In the future, use Signing Central to check out cos. before you get burned. I can't believe they're still in biz & preying on those who don't know better.

It's a shame, isn't it? If you back in Signing Central, you can see forum posts linked to them dating back 10 years.
It's really amazing to me that they manage to stay in business... I mean, especially these guys. A lot of the flakes seem to come and go after a few years or reinvent themselves as other companies. But SOX? Nope... they just stick around with the same name, same tactics, same everything.

What I had to do once is call the lender and title company which in turn contacted the signing company who hired me as the notary. I was glad to hear that the lender would get my money within days and was not pleased to hear that I had not been paid for my services since the signing company's are paid in advance for their services .. I was extremely happy when 3 days later I had all my money and a call from the signing company with an apology. Hope this helps you
